This site has been established to promote the Ida Ballard Simon Memorial Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors in the Memphis, TN and Shelby County (SCS) School District.
The siblings of Ida Ballard Simon request your support with our mission to maintain Ida’s love for and influence in academia and her love to reach students needing scholarships and financial assistance to attend college. With your support, our collaborative efforts will continue to send graduating senior(s) from Memphis and Shelby County, TN public high schools to Ida’s under-graduate college alma mater –Lincoln University, Jefferson City, Missouri.

| 2 | Awarding multiple 1st year Book / Travel Scholarships to students who are enrolled or accepted into planned career programs – e.g., other Historical Black College or University (HBCU), any junior college or trade school |

Two to six book scholarships will be awarded to eligible Class of 2019 High School Graduates from Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee Public High Schools. All book scholarship requests must be received by May 29, 2020. Interviews will be held June 1st – 5th, 2020.
